Club Facilities Open Again

Dear Members,

With the easing of some restrictions and the updating of British Rowing Guidelines I am pleased to announce that parts of the club can now be opened up again to members.

Changing Rooms and Toilets

The main changing rooms and toilets are now open again to members but please try to minimise your usage. Please also ensure that only two people are in the toilet area or changing room at any one time and wear your mask whilst changing.

Bar and club room

The club room is now open (please note that we are in the process of rearranging the furniture this week) for use provided that you only meet in groups of six/two households. The tables and chairs are being moved to allow groups to be seated together and distanced from other groups.

If you use the kitchen please minimise your usage and allow a maximum of two people in there at any one time. If you can, wear your mask.

The balcony can be used for gatherings provided you continue to observe social distancing.

The bar will be open from Tuesday 25th May when bottled drinks only will be served. The beer pumps and lines need to be cleaned and approved by the brewery before we can serve you draught beer. Again, groups of up to six are permitted in the bar area and table service will be in place.

Ergo and Weights Room

These are now open but subject to a booking system – contact Rob, our Captain for details if you wish to book a slot.

Crew Bubbles

In line with the new rule that up to 30 can mix in an outdoor setting, crew bubbles can now be extended if required. As before, please try to keep your distance from other crews when boating.

Boating is still subject to our online booking system.
