18 Jul June Update

Another busy month with some great wins including Henley Women’s!

We also raced at Hereford, Stratford, Marlow, Metropolitan, BR Masters, Ironbridge and HRR.

Henley Women’s
A fantastic effort by our B AC4- who beat Upper Thames in the Final of the aspirational fours!

Marlow
Whilst the women were over at Henley the Men’s four went to Dorney one more time for Marlow. They made it to the D Final again by 1.1 seconds beating an NCRA crew.
After a gutsy final against Newark, Monmouth, Maidstone, Broxbourne, Vesta, Kingston we got 7th place just missing out on 6th by 0.5 secs (the same boat beat us at Met by 3 secs) but beating Northampton.
Well done to the junior quad who had a good experience with their first time at Dorney.

HRR
The Men’s four qualified in the Wyfold and were up against the seeded Vesta A in round one on day one (Tuesday of HRR). Despite a great row they were beaten to the line…

Stratford
A junior regatta held on the picturesque Avon. Five finals contested with two wins!

Metropolitan
Always a high standard at Dorney but wins for our W4- on the Sunday and a good showing by the Men’s 4- also.

Hereford
Wins for the W4+ and Masters E crews

BR Masters Championships
A bronze medal for Claire in her single and a good showing by our other masters crews at this two day regatta at Nottingham
