30 May May Update
A busy month for events with crews racing at National Schools, Worcester, Avon County, Notts City and Notts Masters.
Worcester
A great days racing at our Spring Regatta with 20 crews entered from Worcester. A few wins across all ages and categories on a competitive day over our 850m course.
Avon County
They hosted the West of England Challenge Vase this year for which we entered a Men’s and Women’s four with the ladies getting though to the final. In other events we won in a Women’s pair.
Notts City and Notts Masters
Held at the six lane National Water Sports Centre we entered in fours, doubles and singles – no wins but a good days racing down a multi-lane course.
National Schools
Always dominated by the private schools, this three day events at Eton Dorney gives great experience to our junior crews. We had two girls double sculls entered who acquitted themselves well, particularly the WJ16 2x of Harrie and Emily.
Next up is Hereford, Metropolitan, Marlow, Stratford, Reading, British Rowing Masters Championships, Henley Women’s , Henley Masters and Henley Royal
