180 junior crews contested the West Midlands Junior Championships at Stourport on Sunday.

The Championships also includes trials for the chance to represent the region at the Regional Championships at Nottingham in April at J14-J16 level. This is contested by the 12 rowing regions across BR.

With 12 crews entered from Worcester across WJ18 2x, WJ162x, WJ16 1x, WJ152x and WJ154x as well as J184x, J182x,  J161x and J151x, we did well against stiff opposition from the private schools and local clubs.

The squad won Gold in WJ182x (Claudia and Michaela) and bronze in J161x (Jamie) and WJ182x (Josie and Eva)
