Training Schedules

All of our squads train on the water throughout the year, supplementing this with a full range of off-water facilities at the club as well as at outside venues such as winter circuit training.

Each squad has on-water training session times dictated by their coaches, squad captains and boat availability. Specific training for Regattas and Heads takes place all year.

Rowing (river conditions and weather permitting) takes place on Saturday and Sunday mornings as well as late afternoons and evenings during the summer season.

Indoor training in the winter takes place between 4pm and 8pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Winter Training Schedules

Our boats and facilities are allocated on a strict squad timetable throughout the week, with each squad having an allocation for the weights room and our suite of ergos. Outside of these times they are available on a first come first served basis.

Ergo Room

Guidelines: The room is booked for the training squads as listed below. Outside of these times it is available on a first come first served basis. In the event that there are spare machines during a booking they are available at the discretion of the coach present, again on a first come first served basis. Sit on an erg at the end of the row to not interrupt squad training and be prepared to give up your machine if needs be.
