The water has now receded and the car park, boathouse and all parts are dry, nearly mud-free and accessible. Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the clean-up completed so all boats and kit should be mud-free and ready to use.
The Regional Rowing Centre escaped with only a slightly damp carpet at one end, which is drying out. The Centre is usable and ergos will be put back in there soon.
The sunken car park, which we use at weekends, is out of bounds for now until it dries out fully and is resurfaced.
Good luck to our crews racing at WEHOR and Gloucester this weekend – they may be a little rusty but talent will out!
