Pictured is Tim Eilers (centre), Paul Hoselbarth (right) and Ryan Hall (left – who rowed with them at Worcester) at Henley on Sunday. Tim and Paul were coached at Worcester by Jason Hales and joined the Leander programme two years ago after Jason approached Leander for them.

Tim’s crew – Leander A beat Paul’s crew – Leander B in the semi-final of the Fawley Challenge Cup and then went on to beat Henley Rowing Club in the final – a great win watched by his parents who came over from Germany for the event. Tim now goes off to Princeton in the US on a rowing scholarship.

Tim and Paul’s coach at Leander was very complimentary about Worcester and asked if we had any more hidden away! The Chairman of Leander was also very appreciative about Jason’s and the clubs efforts.
