After 18 long months racing has resumed with Worcester competing at national level over the last week!

Metropolitan Amateur Regatta

Three crews competed at the Met – the prestigious two day regatta at Eton Dorney – last weekend with our Women’s 4- of Elly, Megan, Libby and Megan winning the Club Coxless Fours! A fantastic result. The Men’s Four and Single Scull acquitted themselves well in strong fields.

Junior Sculling Regatta

Held at Eton Dorney for J15 and J16 crews our Girls WJ16 double of Claudia and Michaela – competing in their first ever race together – did very well finishing fifth in their final and 11th out of 25. A great result and hopefully the start of a great career in rowing for them.

BR Masters Championships

This Saturday sees our Masters crews doing battle at Nottingham in the annual British Rowing Masters Championships, held on one day this year, instead of the usual two. We have seven crews entered across 4+, 4x, 2x, 2- and 1x at Masters A, E, H and F age levels. Good luck to all.
